Miroshnichenko Pavel Petrovich (1920-2005)
Crimean painter, graphic artist. Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Miroshnichenko Pavel Petrovich was born on June 1, 1920 in Belovodsk, Luhansk region.
Member of the Great Patriotic War. Decorated with orders and medals.
From 1946 to 1951 he studied at the Crimean Art School named after I. N. S. Samokisha. Teachers: S. Vladimirov, N. Shcheglov, M. Kroshitsky, V. Bernadsky, F. Zakharov.
Since 1951 the artist has lived and worked in Sevastopol.
In 1951-1960. taught at high school number 30 and shipbuilding college in Sevastopol.
Since 1952 Pavel Petrovich has been a participant in city, regional, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.
From 1960 to 1972 he headed the Sevastopol city studio of artists.
Since 1965, P.P. Miroshnichenko - Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
Landscape painter, master of still life. One of the brightest representatives of the impressionistic tradition in the Crimea.
In 1996 Miroshnichenko Pavel Petrovich was awarded the title - "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
Works are in the Sevastopol Art Museum. MP Kroshitsky and other museum and private collections in Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany, Japan, USA, Poland and Czech Republic. Five seascapes were purchased for the Museum of Russian Art in Japan.
