Before us is a conceptual abstract work, built as a sign system of six modular elements. Each square contains a relief symbol — a geometric or organic sign, which together form a visual "code" or a conditional alphabet.
The painting is made in a restrained monochrome range of gray, beige and ocher shades, which gives it architectural rigor and a sense of timelessness. The oil layer is applied thickly, with an active pasty texture, due to which the surface of the canvas acquires an almost sculptural character.
The work appeals to the themes of primary signs, memory, sacred language and the structure of thinking, combining painting and a relief object. It will organically fit into both a modern private interior and a corporate or gallery collection.
